📌 Yan Ziling Fishing Platform
Known as the “Little Three Gorges of Fuchun River,” this site is the real-life version of “Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains.” Located on Gongchun Mountain, north of the Fuchun River in western Tonglu, it is said to be the place where Yan Guang (styled Ziling), a hermit from the Eastern Han Dynasty, lived and fished.
One of the few tourist attractions in China that can only be reached by boat, the journey to Yan Ziling Fishing Platform offers a delightful taste of spring in Jiangnan. Along the way, you’ll pass through the most beautiful section of the Fuchun River, the Seven-Li Rapids, where green mountains and clear waters create a stunning vista.

Daqi Mountain National Forest Park
Situated on the south bank of the Fuchun River, Daqi Mountain National Forest Park is historically known as the “No. 1 Famous Mountain in Jiangnan.” Here, you’ll find an abundance of strange rocks, canyons, and waterfalls. The park is easily accessible by high-speed rail.
The park features a high-altitude glass lake reminiscent of Jiuzhaigou, with crystal-clear water that resembles a sapphire embedded in the mountains. Koi fish swim gracefully in the water, appearing to float in mid-air—a sight so beautiful that no filter is needed!
There’s also a magnificent waterfall cascading down the cliffs, surrounded by lush greenery—a truly healing experience. Although hiking is required, the trails are relatively easy and suitable for city dwellers looking to breathe in some fresh air. The entire tour takes about 3-4 hours, and if the weather permits, you can take a slide down the mountain on your way back.

📌 Chuiyun Tongtian River Scenic Area
When visiting Chuiyun Tongtian River, don’t miss the opportunity to explore the underground dark river! Stretching for a thousand meters, this karst underground river is a typical example of karst landforms. The width of the river is just right for boating, making you feel like you’re in a scene from the novel “The Lost Tomb.”
Halfway up the mountain, you’ll enter the OMG Thrilling Amusement Park, where you must try the racing cars, glass-bottomed rafting, cloud corridor, sky bridge, and more. A full round of these attractions is well worth the ticket price! You’ll have so much fun that you won’t want to leave.
It’s recommended to save the rafting experience for last, as it can take you directly from the middle of the mountain to the bottom. Rain gear and pants are provided at the rafting site, so you can be fully protected from head to toe without worrying about getting wet.

📌 Jiangnan Ancient Village Scenic Area
The ancient Maling Trail connects three villages: Shishe Village, Maoping Village, and Luci Village. This 12km route is popular among hiking enthusiasts and suitable for beginners due to its well-developed facilities.
With bamboo groves, streams, mountain waterfalls, and stone-paved paths, the trail boasts a high scenic index. It’s an excellent choice for those who enjoy light outdoor activities, ancient village enthusiasts, and families or pet owners looking for a friendly outing.
Among the three villages, Luci Village is the most developed. Although some may find it overly commercialized, it serves as a great rest stop for hikers. Shishe Village and Maoping Village are relatively quieter and less crowded. In the summer, many children come to these villages to play in the water and swim, offering a refreshing experience.
