BE YOLO’s brand new sister store
BE YOLO’s owner has opened a second store just south of the old one at the entrance of Lanman Hutong. It’s much larger than the original store, and the coffee, desserts, and beans are all different.
The store’s name comes from a line in a Chinese poem, “A pot of clear wine worth ten thousand gold,” so naturally, they offer alcoholic beverages. The signature drink “Oolong Tea Plum Wine” is highly recommended.
The flavors of plum, tea, and coffee harmonize perfectly, making it a refreshing summer drink. The store also offers homemade desserts and toast in limited quantities each day, so come early if you want to try them.

PAKU COFFEE
Pac-Man themed coffee shop
At first glance, you might think PAKU is a direct translation of the Chinese word for “afraid of bitterness.”
However, the inspiration supposedly comes from the owner’s childhood memories of playing Pac-Man and the “paku paku” sound it made while eating dots. The store is filled with Pac-Man elements, from the ceiling lights and creative wall to the small tables and logo stickers, evoking nostalgic childhood memories.
It’s worth mentioning that the in-store cups for dine-in customers are very attractive, with a bold color combination of silver-gray and Klein blue, showcasing a strong sense of design.
The recommended specialty drink “Mei Ni Bu Xing” (a pun on “Plum, You Can’t”) has a slightly fermented coffee aroma upon the first sip. After stirring thoroughly, the plum syrup and cold brew fully integrate, becoming a unified and complete flavor. Finally, eating the plum inside provides a perfect finish to the drink.

Located in the 1959 Time Park, this coffee shop has a camping theme, with outdoor elements prominently featured in the green plant decorations, seating, and even the coffee cups.
Although the storefront is not large, the interior space is quite spacious. The owner has divided the indoor area into several functional zones, including a production area, a projection area, and a negotiation area. On both sides of the door outside, there are plenty of beach chairs and low tables, perfect for friends to relax and unwind.
As the store is still in its trial operation stage, the coffee selection is limited, and the quality is not yet consistent. It might be worth visiting again after some time has passed.

An architect’s coffee shop
If an architect were to open a coffee shop, it might look something like this. This new store is very tiny, as it is essentially an architectural design studio with a small area near the entrance converted into a coffee ordering and preparation zone.
The building’s design, with its interesting lighting and brick layout, is quite captivating. The logo on the wall casts shadows when illuminated by sunlight, creating a three-dimensional effect. The entire space is indeed quite unique.
In addition to coffee and sparkling water, their Australian-style watermelon cake is also worth trying. The combination of watermelon flesh and soft cake is not only visually appealing but also refreshingly delicious.

KuJin Coffee × COOGILLA
Immersive trendy toy coffee shop
This new store is a collaboration between KuJin Coffee and the toy brand COOGILLA, founded by rapper Sun Xu. Built upon the original coffee shop, the upgraded space now includes a vast collection of trendy toys, a Chinese fashion concept store, and a vintage clothing store, spread across three floors, providing a more diverse experience for every visitor.
The store offers a wide variety of beverages, including basic espresso and pour-over coffee, as well as specialty coffee drinks that are well worth trying. The recently launched movie-inspired specialty drinks, based on six classic films, offer a fascinating collision of flavors.

The most eye-catching coffee shop near the Temple of Heaven
This Australian chain coffee shop is located in the Deb WE International Cultural and Creative Center. Its orange exterior is very eye-catching, giving a fresh and lively impression.
The owner studied in Australia for many years and has been engaged in the coffee industry, ensuring a better selection of coffee beans and quality of production. The store’s beans have a distinctive Australian style, with a slightly heavy taste.
The layered dirty latte is particularly noteworthy. The store separates the ordering and seating areas, with a second floor in the seating area, offering the currently popular camping coffee experience, although reservations are required.

This new store of DUO coffee in Xincheng International operates as a coffee shop during the day and transforms into a bar after 6 pm. The industrial-style space, paired with Klein blue, showcases a strong sense of design. In the corner, there’s a popular sunset lamp that’s perfect for taking photos and checking in on social media.
The store offers a selection of specialty coffee drinks, with consistent quality. Friends working near the China World Trade Center can visit during weekdays.
The store also has a small dog named Tequila, but it’s not always present, so it’s best to call ahead if you’re going specifically to see the dog.

Korean-style Instagram-worthy coffee shop
This newly opened Korean-style coffee shop is located in a cultural industrial park near Changying. The simple gray and white decor, accented with eye-catching Klein blue, gives an instant Instagram-worthy vibe to any photo. The store has a large space, divided into two floors, making it particularly suitable for gatherings and small events.
In addition to regular coffee, the store’s various specialty drinks are very interesting. The recommended “You Dian Yi Si” (A Little Interesting) is a sweet and sour specialty drink made with plum juice and cola, which perfectly balances the bitterness of espresso.
The drink also includes plum pulp and fresh yellow lemon. The refreshing taste is full of icy coolness, making it especially suitable for summer.
