The Peninsula Boutique and Café’s first mainland China flagship store has recently opened its doors in Xintiandi. The two-story store, with a total area of around 253 square meters, features the Peninsula’s signature design style, with the unique “Peninsula Green” color complemented by champagne-colored metal accents.
The first floor houses a main dessert counter offering takeaway pastries, specialty coffees, and exclusive flagship store ice cream.
The retail space in the boutique offers a wide range of popular products, including mini custard mooncakes, Chinese-style rice cakes, chocolates, and the renowned XO chili sauce.
The second floor is dedicated to dining in, with 6 tables and 24 seats arranged in a symmetrical, elegant, and spacious layout.
The menu is a collaboration between Chef Baptiste Villefranque and the local pastry team, focusing on simplicity, texture, and presentation, while incorporating both Chinese and Western flavors.
From lunch to afternoon tea, and even Peninsula’s signature sandwiches, lobster rolls, caviar, or cheese platters in the evening, there’s something for everyone.

American skincare brand MALIN+GOETZ has officially opened its first store in mainland China at Shanghai Xintiandi.
The store’s design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese herbal pharmacies, aiming to create a modern, minimalist aesthetic for its skincare space. The flooring features high-quality gray slate, which complements the surrounding Shikumen-style architecture.

AZUL VINTAGE is a space dedicated to vintage and second-hand luxury goods trading, focusing on creating a low-key, high-quality “less is more” fashion collection.

The pop-up store’s selection and display will maintain AZUL’s consistent fashion taste, featuring approximately 300 carefully chosen items that align with Xintiandi’s fashionable clientele.
