Adjacent to the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, the Sky Mirror Sponge Park is a park with an “outer space” vibe. The entire park’s functions and designs revolve around the theme of “astronomy,” with each building resembling a celestial body.
Located at the core of the Sponge Park, the “Infinite Bridge” draws its design concept from the Möbius strip, symbolizing the endlessness of the universe. The bridge’s shape borrows from the infinity symbol in mathematics, appearing like a lightweight ribbon from afar. The overall design is elegant and harmonious with the surrounding environment, creating a sense of science fiction and future with the changing light and shadows on the water surface.
Walking through the entire bridge, every step offers a different view through the structural gaps of the Infinite Bridge, embarking on an interesting cyclical journey.

No. 1 Pedestrian Bridge

At Shanghai Fish in Fengxian, there is a visually appealing “8”-shaped pedestrian bridge that looks like a Möbius strip when viewed from above. The No. 1 Pedestrian Bridge connects Hudi Road and allows passage to and from Nianfeng Park, making crossing the bridge a fun experience.

The E-Port Bridge at Dishui Lake also adopts the Möbius strip shape. On one hand, the bridge deck and roof are seamlessly integrated, making the entire bridge resemble a ribbon. Located on the connecting corridor at one end of Tresort, there is a giant double helix tower in red, named “Endless Spiral.” This public art installation draws inspiration from the Möbius strip and has attracted many young people to check it in. The entire installation spirals upward and extends infinitely. The enormous red Möbius strip allows people to experience visual magic.
Following the stairs that spiral up on one side, visitors can feel the sunlight shining through the circular openings. Upon reaching the top of the ring, the surrounding scenery is fully visible.

Recently, Pudong has gained another great place for leisure and recreation—the Möbius Strip Park, filled with a sci-fi atmosphere, has opened to the public.
The park takes “flow” as its concept, using the cyclical streamlines of the Möbius strip to connect rich and attractive three-dimensional, multi-level spaces, hoping to make citizens and tourists linger and forget to leave.
