After entering the scenic area, there are two routes: clockwise and counterclockwise, both requiring uphill walking. The area is not very large, and you can explore it in about a day. Here, there are different ways to enjoy the scenery during the day and at night. In the daytime, climb to high places for distant views; at night, watch the lights come on.

🚘Transportation Guide

Choose to arrive at noon, and there will be a direct bus from Shangrao Station to Wangxian Valley Scenic Area. If you have booked a homestay in Wangxian Township, you can ask the owner to arrange a carpool to pick you up for 35 CNY per person.

The journey takes about an hour. If you’re self-driving, be aware of the many winding mountain roads and large vehicles. If there are no parking spaces at the entrance of the scenic area, you can drive a bit further to Wangxian Township.

⚠️Tips

For those who love taking photos, remember to wear or bring ancient costumes when coming here. It will be convenient for taking pictures. Put on Hanfu or a horse-face skirt, and you’ll instantly travel to the fairy world.
